We have a number of high profile people in Australia who openly endorse MBT due to the benefits they have personally found by wearing them. Examplea include Australia's finest alpine skier, Zali Steggal who claims that wearing MBT's for a few weeks before hitting the slopes, will prepare your legs for the strains of skiing. Three-time Olympic Rower, Kate Allen (nee Slatter) called MBT's her "saving grace" during her recent pregnancy due to the relief MBT's gave her legs whilst walking. Internationally, we have many athletes who wear them as a training and rehabilitation tool, including many Premier League Football teams in Europe.

Why is an introductory course necessary?
|
Attending an introductory course ensures effective use and durability of the MBT. It is done by certified instructors and takes about 60 minutes. How does the lace lock for the Unisex Sport models work?

The visual explanation for the lace lock comes with a hangtag on every product. If you are not satisfied with the lace lock you may simply remove it.

What is the difference between the sandal and other MBTs?
|
There is no functional difference. The technology is in the sole. The uppers of the MBT vary in order to suit different customers’ tastes and needs.

Which is the right size for my MBT?

Closed models:
- Snug on the instep.
- Comfortable on the toe.
Sandals:
- Heel as far back as possible.
- Toes reaching the very front of the sandal.
- Instep strap tight, but comfortable.

Are they only suitable for people with orthopaedic problems?
|
Everybody who wants to benefit from the positive effects of MBT physiological footwear can wear MBTs. Some people wish to improve their performance levels, fitness and appearance. Many people only discover MBT when they want to relieve complaints quickly and effectively – especially in the foot, knee, hip or back areas.
There is only one exception: blind people should only wear MBT for therapy.
However, if the MBT is used as a secondary therapy for existing basic health conditions, its application must be supervised by a medically-trained MBT instructor.

Can I wear MBT every day and for how long?

You may walk and stand in MBT as long as you feel comfortable. Try to use MBT regularly and as often as possible. However, if the MBT is used as a secondary therapy for existing basic health conditions, its application must be supervised by a medically-trained MBT instructor.

For how long should I wear my MBT's at first?
|
|
Depending on your fitness level you should wear them no more than an hour a day for the first few days. As soon as you feel comfortable you can increase the time. If applied as medical or therapeutic tools make sure you refer to a health specialist.
